HOLE SCORING – We
are using the GROSS-NET-NET format. The low gross and two low net
scores must come from three different players. You must use
the lowest gross score on a hole. From the remaining scores, choose
the two lowest net scores and add them to the low gross for your
team’s total score on the hole.
-
TEAM SCORING –
Each team’s 9 hole total score is compared to the other teams’
scores in its division. Low team score for the night is awarded as
many points as there are teams in their division. Second low score
1 point less and so on. Split points are awarded for tie scores.
-
HANDICAPS – All
players will have a current GHIN handicap on our Men’s Club computer
or must play to a 0.0 handicap. If you registered at another
Men’s Club and did not provide a GHIN number from another course,
you will have to play a minimum of five 18 hole rounds to
establish a temporary handicap. A temporary handicap will be issued
by the Handicap Chairman.
-
SCORE POSTINGS –
Scores will be posted by a representative of the Coeur d’Alene Men’s
Club.
-
PLAYING WITH TOO FEW
PLAYERS – You must have a minimum of 3 players to get a team
score on a hole and it is to your benefit to field a full 5 man team
every week. Teams with 3 players or less will receive 2 team
demerits. Teams with 4 players will receive 1 team demerit.
Teams failing to play (less than 3) will not receive any points for
the week. Any team receiving 5 demerits or more in a single
season will not have a reserved spot in the league next year.
-
SUBSTITUTIONS –
Teams may request up to a maximum of 2 substitutes from the pro
shop. Demerits will not be assessed for teams utilizing
substitutes. CDA Men’s Club Members wishing to substitute may sign
up in the pro shop anytime Thursday. Substitutes must be paid CDA
Men’s Club Members. Please provide the substitute’s name and local
number (and pass number if applicable) on the scorecard and indicate
“SUB”. A team roster player may play as a substitute, but ONLY for
teams out of his own division.
-
UNPAID FEES – All
players in league shall have paid their Men’s Club dues on or before
the first night they play. Scores will not count for players who
are not fully paid and demerits will be assessed. No Exceptions.
-
ADDING PLAYERS –
You may add a player to your roster by writing his name and local
number (and pass number if applicable) in an open slot on your
scorecard. Make sure he has paid his men’s club dues. You may have
a maximum of 8 players on your roster.
-
REPLACING PLAYERS
– Teams shall finalize rosters prior to the third week of play.
Players may be replaced after the third week of play only under
special circumstances.
